Travel support for international students
There is limited financial support available through the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics for participants from developing countries. The support will be USD 1000 per person. To request this support,

There are a few travel grants available for scientists coming from developing nations, as defined by the World Bank's most recent list of 'low income', 'lower middle income' and 'upper middle income' countries. according to below link:

Support can be applied for by sending an informal application to the icap2016korea@gmail.com after register to ICAP2016 (with complete payment) and submit poster abstract. This application should include the name. affiliation and the registration number. Because of the limited availability of funds, a maximum of one participant per research group will receive support.

VISA
- 1. Visitors who plan to stay in Korea for longer than 90 days must obtain a visa before entering Korea.
- 2. Visa application should be made at Korean embassies or consulates abroad.
- 3. Visa applicants are required to submit passport, application forms, a recent passport-size color photograph, and other relevant documents as determined by their status of stay.
Countries under visa waiver agreements
Nationals of visa waiver countries can enter Korea without a visa as long as the purpose of their visit is tourism or temporary visit. If they want to engage in profitable activities such as employment, they must apply for a Korean visa suitable for their purpose.

Designated visa-free entry
Considering international convention, mutuality doctrine, national profit and other such factors, certain countries are granted visa-free entry permissions.
Nationals of the following countries are allowed up to 30 days of visa-free sojourn for tourism or visitation.
Exceptions: Canada is allowed up to 6 months, and United States, Australia, Hong Kong, Slovenia, and Japan are allowed up to 90 days.

Invitation letter for Visa
if you need an invitation letter to obtain a visa, please choose the appropriate option on the registration website. Your letter will be send to you
- 1) After your payment made
- 2) After you give us your personal information which include your name, birth date and nationality. You can input these informations during your registration step.
- 3) We suggest you provide us your "passport number" via email if you want us can strongly guranty VISA.
We encourage you to apply for your visa as early as possible, at least 2 months prior to this conference.
